Hail Holy Queen Devotion

1st) Novena of Fire: pray 9 (nine) “Hail Holy Queens”, hourly, 9 (nine) hours in a row.

Warning: the Novena of Fire should be done with no interruption in the sequence of hours, being that 9 (nine) Hail Holy Queens should be prayed in each hour.

2nd) Novena of the 90 “Hail Holy Queen

(Revealed by Sister Benigna to a nun of the congregation)

Two ways of doing the novena of the 90 Hail Holy Queens:

1st) Hail Holy Queen shall be prayed many times during the day, reaching 90 (ninety) Hail Holy Queen.

2nd) Hail Holy Queen should be prayed at once 90 (ninety) times.

The origin of the devotion of the 90 Hail Holy Queen:

"The Augusto Silva Home for the Elderly”, in Lavras, was going through great difficulties. Sister Benigna was designated there, because they believed that she would be the person able to solve the problems. With her dynamism, she soon started, along with her friends, to create campaigns, that turn out to be big joined efforts. The problems were taken care of, and the elderly were very well-treated, just the way she liked. When she passed away, the Augusto Silva Home started to deal, again, with a great amount of problems. One day, a great problem came up. Sister São Carlos was very worried, looking for a way to solve the problems. At night, she dreamt with Sister Benigna telling her that, if she prayed the 90 Hail Holy Queens, she would be able to solve the problem. When she woke up, the Sister thought to herself: “Sister Benigna must be crazy! Me, pray 90 Hail Holy Queens at once! The best I can do is to pray 10 Hail Holy Queen for 9 dias”. And the problem kept happening… In the following night, she had the same dream with Sister Benigna. She woke up very impressed. She called some of her friends, who prayed, every first Saturday of the month, the prayer of 20 rosaries, at the grout of Lourdes, built by Sister Benigna in front of the Saint Joseph Chapel, at the “Augusto Silva Home of the Elderly”, and together they prayed the 90 Hail Holy Queens. The next morning, the problem was solved, and the devotion to the 90 Hail Holy Queen started, this prayer so powerful and which was Sister Benigna’s favorite prayer."
